North Lauderdale was established in 1963, originally as farmland. At the time, the western Broward County area was grazing pasture for cows and horses at the Anderson Dairy Farm. It was also an agricultural area for the Lena Lyons Stringbean Farm.

The city truly began to flourish when architect Morris Lapidus appeared in the picture and called North Lauderdale "The City of Tomorrow."

As Lapidus' efforts attracted more tourists to the area, over the years, pests unfortunately found their way to North Lauderdale as well. Pest activity throughout the city is why Native Pest Management makes North Lauderdale a priority.
